Model Chapter 2005

San Pablo Chapter has been awarded “Model Chapter for the Year 2005″! Below is a letter from UAP National President Arch. Enrique O. Olonan, FUAP to San Pablo Chapter president Ramon T. Bacani:

Dear Arch. Bacani,

Warm Greetings!

This is to inform you that I, together with the members of the Execom, during it’s meeting last 29 April 2005, unanimously chose your chapter as Model Chapter for the Year 2005.

In view of this, your chapter will be awarded with a Presidential Award of Excellence during the Turn-Over, Induction and Recognition Night on June 25, 2005, Saturday at 7:00 in the evening at the Centennial Hall of the Manila Hotel, Manila.

We request the honor of your presence on this very important occasion to accept the award for your chapter.

31st UAP NATIONAL CONVENTION

The chapter sent a delegation to the convention, which was held at the Philtrade, World Trade Center, and the Westin Philippine Plaza on March 30 to April 2.

At 21 delegates, it’s the largest delegation that the chapter has sent to the convention so far. And with good reason! The chapter has won the highly coveted MOST OUTSTANDING CHAPTER AWARD held at the Honor Dinner, April 1, 2005. This is not a joke.

Congrats guys!! And great job to those who worked hard on putting together the application specially Chapter President Ramon Bacano and Chapter Secretary Ilyn Florese-Alanguilan.

Talakayan sa Nagcarlan

Officers of the San Pablo chapter including Mon Bacani (President), Bimbo Barte (VP for Operations), Ilyn Florese (Secretary), Michael Manansala (Treasurer), Edgar Romanes (Asst. VP for Plans and Programs), and Cesar Esguerra (Director and Videographer), went to the municipality of Nagcarlan, Laguna through the invitation of fellow architect and municipal councilor Ariel P. Coronado on a public information awareness/open forum on the RA 9266.

Attendees included draftsmen, Electricians, Engineers and the Building Official of the Municipal Engineer of Nagcarlan.
